Tiger II

Here is Tamiya's 1/48 Tiger II, one of the first AFVs I built when I decided to get back into the hobby in a serious way. Perfect kit to start a hobby and get excited about, not a huge kit, nothing complicated, and still holds good detail once finished. It was hand painted because I didn't have an airbrush at that stage, but that was hardly an issue i felt. The version I chose was the white washed camo, with some original paint pattern showing through.... although I would like to try this pattern again to see how much better I could present it. This isn't a award winner by any stretch, but it sure was fun to build.
